Ang pananampalataya ay kamalayan mula sa Holy Spirit na mangyayari ang mga hindi natin nakikita. Ganito ang sabi sa Bible:
“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
(13) It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
(14) For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless,
(15) because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.
(16) Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.
(17) As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
(18) Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
(19) Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.
(20) Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,
(21) being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

(17) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Paano tayo magkakaroon ng pananampalataya?
(8) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
(9) not by works, so that no one can boast.
Paano natin matatanggap ang kaligtasan?
(11) Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”
Paano dapat mamuhay ang mga righteous?
(6) So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
(7) rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Paano natin mapapalakas ang ating pananampalataya?
John 10:37-38 (NIV)
(37) Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.
(38) But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”
John 14:11-12 (NIV)
(11) Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
(12) Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Ang mga miracles ay nagbibigay ng Kaluwalhatian sa ating Ama at tumutulong na madagdagan ang ating pananampalataya.
(18) But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
