Ang pananampalataya ay kamalayan mula sa Holy Spirit na mangyayari ang mga hindi natin nakikita. Ganito ang sabi sa Bible:

Ang revelation na ito ay sinusundan ng aksyon. Ang pananampalataya ay isang action word, at ito ang pundasyon ng ating pananampalataya kay Jesus.

(20) Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,
(21) being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

(18) But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
Ano ang dapat na kasama ng pananampalataya?
(2) Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
(3) because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
(4) Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

(36) You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
(37) For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.”
(38) And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”
(39) But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.
